We all know that MIT is the world's best university and we are fortunate that by sitting at our home we can have the lectures of MIT faculties.

Here I am providing you the link for the courses related to mathematics.

     4) NPTEL:

National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning (NPTEL) is an initiative funded by MHRD, Government of India and coordinated by IITs as well as IISc. The central idea of the project is to put recorded lectures taught by its member institutes online for open access. This playlist of 36 videos is a course of Linear Algebra taught by Prof. Gilbert Strang, a very well known professor of MIT.

6) Abstract Algebra:

This playlist consist of beautifully animated videos to understand the concepts of Group Theory and Ring Theory. Many important terms in Abstract Algebra are hard to visualize and therefore hard to understand but through these videos you will learn a lot and will be inspired to read more about the subject.

7) Introduction to Research:

These videos are uploaded by NPTEL to give us some fundamentals of research work. If you are new to research work or willing to go for research then these are some must see videos which will introduce you the world of research. This will help you in M.Phill, Ph.D as well as for the project work of your post graduate program.

Distance between Sun and Earth in HANUMAN CHALISA...!!!

You might be surprised by reading the title of this post.

If some body ask you that who is the first person to measure the distance between the Sun and the Earth..?, you may or may not be known to answer to this question but you can surely told that he/ she must be a foreigner and not an Indian.

If you search on Google then you will get the result like this...

And according to Google the first person to measure the distance between the Sun and the Earth was Aristrachus around the year 250 BC.

In this post I'm going to prove that it has already been discussed in Hanuman Chalisa written by Shri Tulsidasji 5000 BC.

You must have read this para in Hanuman Chalisa....

Now,

1 Yug = 12000 year

1 Sahastra = 1000

1 Yojan = 8 mile

1 mile = 1.6 km

Yug x Sahastra x Yojan = par Bhanu

12000 x 1000 x 8 x 1.6 = 1.53 x 10^8 km to Bhanu (The Sun)

Which is the same as the answer of Google and the figure that used now a days in calculation.

It proves that Hanumanji jumped to the Sun 1.53 x 10^8 km thinking it as a sweet fruit.

It is really interesting how accurate, meaningful and scientific our ancient scriptures are..

But unfortunately we all have become the slave of the Western Education System and believe only what the google or the European scientists told and not our Ancient Scriptures...
